After getting her master\u2019s degree from East Tennessee State University, she worked for a year with the Veteran\u2019s hospital in Kansas City. Ever the adventurous sort, Heather moved to New Zealand for eight years to work primarily with pediatric patients in a public health hospital. She returned home to Missouri and completed her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) through A.T. Stills University in 2007.
